We had a fantastic World Book Day celebration this year! The day began with a special assembly where children proudly showed off their wonderful costumes. We also enjoyed hearing extracts from some of our pupils’ stories and poems that had been published in a book as part of a recent competition – a brilliant achievement!

Throughout the rest of the day, children took part in a range of World Book Day activities. One of the returning favourites was origami bookmark making, where pupils created their own colourful bookmarks to use in their reading.

It was a fantastic day celebrating books, stories and the joy of reading. Well done to everyone who took part!
