What a fantastic start to the new school year! Although our first week has only been three days long, the Year 3 children have already packed in an incredible amount of learning and excitement. Using the laptops in our computing lesson, learning about light sources in science and starting our new Spanish topic have been the highlights of this week.

TTRockstar passwords went out this week and it has been great to see several children accessing their accounts already. Times tables are super important to help build those foundations in our maths lessons.

PE will start on Monday - please make sure the children bring a separate PE kit ready to get changed for our lesson.

Spellings will also begin on Monday. Children are expected to practise their spellings regularly at home in preparation for Friday's test.

We would also love to start our tooth brushing club next week so if you haven't already completed the consent form, please do so this weekend.

The special mention for this week went to Kaiyaan for his effort and attitude in our lessons. A big well done to Kaiyaan!
