What a great week we've had this week with lots of outdoor learning in the lovely sunshine!

We've been continuing with our light topic in science this week and have been exploring how and why shadows appear to move throughout the day. We've only got one more light lesson left and then we'll be moving onto our new topic of Forces!

In art this week we've started sketching out our seascape pictures ready to paint them in the next couple of weeks. In MfL, we've been learning how to ask someone their name and say our names in Spanish.

In maths we've started addition and subtraction and we've been looking at adding ones, tens and hundreds to a 3 digit number. The children are becoming more independent when choosing the right resources to support them with their learning.

This week's year 3 special mention was awarded to Jack who always has a positive learning attitude. Well done Jack!
