This week, Year 5 enjoyed an exciting lesson from Tech She Can, all about how we use robots in everyday life. The children explored the many ways robotics support us at home—such as vacuuming, cooking, or helping with reminders—and learnt how different types of programming allow robots to follow instructions and make decisions.

They also discovered how companies like Amazon use robotics to sort parcels, move stock, and speed up deliveries. The class discussed how this technology helps businesses work more efficiently and safely, and what skills future engineers and programmers might need.

It was a fascinating session that sparked lots of brilliant questions and ideas.
