The Y6 children enjoyed a spot of geology in science today, as they studied, observed and classifyed a range of different fossils, for their science studies on 'Evolution and Inheritance' and learned about scientis Charles Darwin and his theories too.

As Scientists, the Y6 have been carrying out a range of different investigations about Light. They have learned how light travels, how shadows are formed, reflection, refraction and the light spectrum, through thinking scientifically and completing practical experiments too.
Y6 had an important talk by PC Paul Gray about the dangers of knives and what the law states. He was very impressed with the children's questions and responses too.
