As part of Science Week, the hall turned into a mini flight laboratory! The year 4 children became young engineers as they designed, built and tested a variety of paper aeroplanes to discover which design could fly the best.
As one of our activities for World Book Day, children enjoyed creating their own front covers based on two intriguing story starters: The Dangerous Pet and The Painted Village.
Today in D&T, we started our new unit by tasting vegetables for our upcoming salad snack pots. A huge well done to all the children — even though many thought they wouldn’t try anything, everyone tasted something.
In maths, the children really enjoyed the NSPCC Number Day activities. They started with a quiz and then enjoyed working in pairs on some activities. ➕➗🟰✖️➖
