During the day, all lights across school were switched off. Unfortunately, it just so happened to be the darkest day we have had yet in June! Whilst it was quite difficult, it showed us all how much we rely on the lights across school. Members of the Eco Committee ensured that all classrooms and areas around school did not have the light on. Mr Smith completed a meter reading and was able to tell us that we saved enough energy to power the average UK household for one day! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and cannot wait for the next one.
