About Our School:
Rosehill Junior School is a dual intake school with 8 KS2 classes in total. There are 2 classes in each year group which provides a lot of support for class teachers with the capacity to share planning and resources. Class sizes are set at 30, with 60 in each year group and 240 places across the whole school.
Visitors to the site frequently comment on the warm ‘family’ feel of the school, the politeness of the children and the positive relationships observed which is rooted in our inclusive and restorative ethos - why not come along and see for yourself?
We have lots of additional space around the building and a large sports hall with full facilities on site. The school grounds are expansive with lots of green space, a woodland and fixed play equipment including a MUGA, basketball nets, a climbing structure and a walking track. We have further expansion plans moving forward too!
We are a school that recognises the challenges of modern day teaching and as such, have a dedicated fast broadband connection with a failover line, a wifi 6 mesh network, 3 photocopiers, advanced VoIP phone systems, google cloud-based infrastructure and an ever-expanding IT provision plan.
We recognise the ever more complex emotional needs of children and the barriers this creates for learning so we have a dedicated Inclusion Team to help meet this need without impacting on learning time. Our team of 3, headed up by our non-class based DSL work in close partnership with our SENDco, Attendance Officer and wider staff to ensure children are well-supported.
If you are passionate about teaching, enthusiastic with a sense of fun and want to be part of a school community where you make a positive difference to children’s lives, Rosehill is the school for you!
Please see the bottom of the page to download an application form!
